15 years of audio celebration
Quindecim means 15. Named to celebrate the 15 years of our company’s audio journey. It also matches the power amplifiers power rating at 15W @8ohms
The Design Concept
The Quindecim design is based on one of our flagship proprietary technologies, the Negative Output Impedance Energy Source (NOIES)
Just like the Pondera preamplifier before it, it’s single ended tube stage is fed by our NOIES stage, delivering truly unmatched performance at this power rating.
The amplifier is single ended and single stage, using one E130L tube per channel. The NOIES power stage also uses a second E130L per channel, for a total tube count of four.
The E130L tube is a very high quality, extremely high tranconductance / current tube, designed at the peak era of tube driven technology.
It provides extremely low internal resistance, high linearity and very high current drive. The step down transformer has easy work when driven by this low internal impedance tube, and provides excellent linearity and wide bandwidth up to the peak power limits.
Gain selection
The Quindecim is a low to very low gain amplifier. It requires a good preamplifier to drive the low sensitivity / low impedance inputs.
We believe that the ceiling of performance of the design is only limited by the quality of the preamplifier driving it.
Long tube life/Two power level operation
The E130L are very reliable, long life tubes. The amplifier also be operated in half power state, to get even higher tube life.
Noies technology taking over the world?
Since it’s inception in 2011 the NOIES tech keeps surprising us with it’s sonic and technical attributes.
Reintroduced with our Pondera preamp in 2025, it quickly spread to our lineup with the Quindecim (the smallest form and iteration of the technology ) to the flagship designs Odysseas (monaural amplifiers) and Aether(pre-amplifier). What is certain, it is here to stay , and spreading…
